"Having spent a week with Steve and Beate at "The Palace", their very comfortable and well-appointed guest house I highly recommend Cape Active as your holiday choice when visiting South Africa. The location in Bettys Bay is beautiful with a penguin colony at the end of the road and miles of unspoilt and largely empty beach 10 minutes walk from the house.
There are good inexpensive restaurants nearby. Steve and Beate extend a great welcome to their guests, are great hosts who organise all sorts of interesting trips and activities or leave guests free to chill on the beach if preferred. A tip for music lovers; take your favourite cds with you to listen on Steve's amazing sound system and watch a dvd on the screen in his funky party room! Cape Town, a city which exceeded my expectations and should be at the top of everyones list of cities to visit is only 1 hour 15 mins drive away. Steve has developed his own highly effective method of pilates instruction so guests can also benefit from Steve Jordan Pilates sessions, - every day if they can take the pace! And, if your muscles are aching after all that activity relax in the first floor jacuzzi with views to the sea. "

“Thank you so much for your hospitality. I had such a good time and have many memories of the Cape to keep me warm as Winter turns into Spring in the UK. I found my experience of Steve Jordan Pilates very enlightening. As someone who has practiced yoga for several years, it was fascinating to see how Pilates, although complimentary, is in fact entirely different especially as practiced by Steve. I got a real sense of its potential benefits almost straightaway.”
